One Nation Under God
A small crest design designating a Christian Outfitter. The real large design is printed on the back, One Nation Under God. This is a much debated phrase added to our Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag in the 1950's. In the last half century, America has seen a fundamental argument about whether the United States of America was indeed founded as a Christian Country. A modern historian is re-writing history in a new book on the subj, as Progressives tend to do. He argues the drive to suggest America was founded as a Christian nation did not begin until the 1930s and was led by business and Christian leaders in response to FDR's New Deal. In God We Trust was established as the national motto and added to our money. This mingling of business and Christian leaders was nothing more than evil corporate greed feeding a hoax to the American people to increase their profits. There is some truth to this myth he spins to dispute the myth he says they created. It was in response to the New Deal and other Progressive policies being created by these liberal progressive socialist politicians seeking ultimate power to a ruling class. The New Deal was full of socialist programs which enriched the connected and created the longest sustained depression for the American middle class in our history. This on the back of the 16th Amendment creating unequal taxation as stated in the Communist manifesto, and the creation of the Federal Reserve under Woodrow Wilson which enshrined the monetary wealth and power into the hands of the big banks and financiers of the time. Yes, this drive to institutionalize the true history of America's Founding was in response to the Progressive policies of government power trying to re-write the Founding history. See the expanded descriptions of the other shirts here in our Christian Heritage section for more historical truths. A couple other references these modern editors of revisionist history cannot refute. One is the relief of Moses the law giver on the the wall of Congress. Just as Moses was trusted by God to deliver His laws to the people, so too should our lawmakers look to God for the laws they shall make. The second is now starting to be hard to find on computer search engines. This was a ruling of the United States Supreme Court on February 29, 1892 in Holy Trinity v. the United States. The court declared that that the historical record of America overwhelmingly that the United States ".....is a Christian nation." It is not an official religion of America, as each individual has a choice in the freedom God intended for man. So it receives no special privilege or mandates on its behalf. Still the First Amendment says we have Freedom OF Religion, NOT Freedom FROM Religion. Another Bible verse on the bottom of this design, explains why our history. Psalm 33:12, Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord.
